In June 2014, in support of the AdMeTech Foundation’s 6th Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Day at the Massachusetts State House, Democrat, Independent and Republican candidates running to be the next Governor of Massachusetts appeared together in “We All Agree,” the first video released by AdMeTech Foundation to highlight the need for increased prostate cancer education and awareness in the Commonwealth.
As the video views, media coverage, and re-tweets started adding up, other key Massachusetts political and sports figures expressed their support for creating a Massachusetts model of national leadership in prostate cancer awareness and education. In connection with the Opening Day at the Fenway Park on April 13, 2015 and to honor the 7th Annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Day, taking place a few days later at the State House, Larry Lucchino issued a video statement to urge everyone, including Red Sox fans, to make Massachusetts a champion in the fight against prostate cancer.
On April 15, 2015, Massachusetts Governor Baker and nine leading Republican and Democratic legislators appeared together in a bi-partisan video “We All Agree 2015,” voicing their support for setting a Massachusetts example of prostate cancer awareness and education for the nation, with the goal to bring cutting-edge advances in early detection and treatment from the state’s world-leading hospitals to every man.
