GUIDELINES FOR RECORDING PRESENTATIONS

- Deadline for Providing Video or Scheduling Recording: August 1, 2023. If you need an extension of this deadline or scheduling recording, please contact Emma Couillard as above.
- Duration of the Presentation: As allocated in the program.
- Guidelines for Creating Your Slides and Video:

- For the slideshow, please choose a wide-screen format and a light background for the Zoom format.

- Please select “record” on Zoom and choose to save the video onto your computer. It will upload after you choose to end the Zoom meeting.

- You can choose the option of either showing your image, or using only the audio voice-over during your presentation.

- Please use maximal sound on your computer and turn off desktop notifications during recording to avoid background noise.

- If you stumble at any point in the presentation and would like to redo that part without starting the presentation completely over, please say that you will be restating that particular point and start over at the beginning of the part that you would like to redo. We will edit your video per your recorded instructions.
- How to Submit Your Video: Please send Emma Couillard (see email above) in the following format: .mov or .mp4 file. Because video files can often be too large to send via email, you may choose to upload it into Google Drive and then share it with Emma via email. If you send it as a link to the Google Drive file, please allow Emma to be an editor, not just a viewer.
