AdMeTech’s public conference is a unique multi-disciplinary forum which for the time brought together the key thought leaders of government, medicine, advocacy, industry and legislation to review the state of the art and future vision in prostate cancer care. This event has made a direct and immediate impact on:
  • Historic legislation in US Congress, calling for increased national research investment;
  • Medical education;
  • Creation of a think tank, which developed a consensus-based strategy for research and clinical implementation of advanced prostate imaging and precisely-targeted, minimally-invasive treatment; and
  • Public awareness campaign “Where is Manogram®?”

AdMeTech held the First Public Conference on Image-Guided Diagnosis and Minimally Invasive Treatment of Prostate Cancer. This first event of its kind was critical for the recognition of the importance of imaging and other diagnostic tools in the advancement of patient care by the leading international multi-disciplinary clinical and research experts, and integrated their efforts into the creation of AdMeTech’s Brain Trust.

The Second Public Conference on Image-Guided Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostate Cancer resulted in the establishment of molecular imaging of prostate cancer as a new field of research, which has been funded by the Telemedicine and Advanced Technologies Research Center of the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, Department of Defense since 2003.

The Fourth Public Conference on Image-Guided Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostate Cancer brought together key leaders of academia, industry and advocacy. During a closing ceremony in US Congress, when the $650 million Prostate Cancer Research and Imaging (PRIME) Act was introduced by Rep. Elijah Cummings in the US House of Representatives.
