Administrative Structure and Function

The Board of Directors, which serves without compensation, establishes the general strategy of AdMeTech and participates actively in raising funds. The Board is composed of, but not limited to:

  • Leading academicians in the field of advanced medical instrumentation;
  • Representatives of industry and government and
  • Individual philanthropists and/or representatives of philanthropic organizations.

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION

  • Development and implementation of scientific strategy
  • Evaluation of science and technology projects
  • Formation of collaborative, consulting, and/or inter-organizational agreements
  • Administration and monitoring of contracts and grants
  • Fundraising

PROJECT SELECTION

  • The External Scientific Advisory Committee composed of leading authorities in clinical medicine, physics, and engineering, reviews and reports to the President on the scientific merits of proposed projects.
  • The President evaluates the findings of the Advisory Committee and based on each project's scientific merit and relevance to AdMeTech's mission and strategy, makes funding recommendations to the Board of Directors.
